redundancy
If you’ve been made redundant it’s possible to have a knee jerk reaction and hunt frantically for a similar job, however it’s wise to remain calm and carefully weigh up your options.
Should you have time on your hands due to redundancy it would be worth considering doing a course to learn a new skill.
Alexander practitioners are self-employed, this liberates you from the possibility of being made redundant ever again, allows you to work past your pensionable age from home with hours of work that you chose so you become a master of your own destiny.

We are sympathetic to the needs of family and work and reflect this in our in-house philosophy, course structure and timetable.
Our dates for our Alexander practitioner training year are always the same as local school term dates, so parents can retrain whilst their children are at school. We have a half term break in the middle of each term.
There are no specific qualifications that are required in order to join our training course.
There is no age limit for people who wish to join.
People’s reasons for training with us can be as individual as they are. People of all ages and backgrounds enjoy the training course for many different reasons.
The course runs for about 33 weeks per year.
On successful completion of the training you will gain an internationally recognized professional qualification, which allows you to work as an Alexander practitioner anywhere in the world.
Students need to complete 1600 hours of training, as required by STAT to gain the qualification MSTAT.
Since all our students at whatever stage of learning train together, students can join at the beginning of any term or half term.
