retraining

Retraining to find a new job can be rewarding in more ways than one.

If you’ve been made redundant it’s possible to have a knee jerk reaction and hunt frantically for a similar job, however it’s wise to remain calm and carefully weigh up your options.

Do you just want to enhance the skills you already have in order to return to a similar working environment in the future? Or do you want to learn some completely new skills and broaden your horizons and skill base?

Should you have time on your hands due to redundancy it would be worth considering doing a course to learn a new skill.

There are a number of advantages to this including:
It adds ‘another string to your bow’. The more skills you possess the greater security you have.

It enhances your CV - qualifications always look good so if you can do training it will increase the impressiveness of your CV.

Independent learning demonstrates to an employer that you are committed to your own development and are prepared to do this in your own time. It also proves that you are a motivated and positive individual.

Alexander practitioners are self-employed, this liberates you from the possibility of being made redundant ever again, allows you to work past your pensionable age from home with hours of work that you chose so you become a master of your own destiny.

Have a look at our course details as a part-time course it offers alot of flexibility.
