full time training

The Brighton School for Alexander Technique offers a three year practitioner training course for those thinking of becoming Alexander Technique practitioners, and also for anyone seeking transformational personal development.

part time training

Part time training offers you the opportunity for an intensive study of The Alexander Technique.

This is a great option for those who wish to deepen their knowlege but do not wish to go on to become a practitioner. We offer part time training in a number of flexible formats, either as one term or one year course which can be attended on a full-time or part-time basis. If you chose to continue onto the practitioner training these completed courses can count toward the full qualification.

Individually tailored training can be arranged with the Director of Training so contact us to discuss your training needs.

post grad and cpd

We have an active postgraduate program which can be arranged on an individual basis with the Director of Training. Check out the details for our current continued professional development program for those who are qualified Alexander practitioners.

Our school is based in central Brighton and since its inception has been one of the most successful in

the country. Our course is certified by the Society for Teachers of the Alexander Technique STAT,the world’s oldest and largest professional body for teachers of the Technique.

On these pages you will find information on the Alexander Technique training at the Brighton School, including why you might consider training, our aims and philosophy the Directors of Training the curriculum, assessment, and term dates.

If you have further questions you may find these answered on the school faq page. Otherwise why not get in touch. The Directors of Training and students welcome visitors to the school and we would be pleased to arrange for you to come and sit in on a morning's training.

So why not join us in Brighton for the chance of a lifetime.
